Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts is an attached department of Finance Department, established in July, 2007. Being head of attached department Directorate of LFA deals with establishment matters of Treasury staff i.e. Appointment, Promotion, Posting / Transfer, Pension & G.P. Fund, Leave, T.A., MRC etc.
Director T&A being controlling officer of DCAs / DAOs also deals with budget matters annual/casual inspections, surprise visits and issuance / sale of stamps etc. Sanctioned strength of the Directorate of T&A is 633 employees.
